Quest for Arriena Cover

And here it is! The cover for the Quest for Arriena remake! This took weeks to make. I used so many layers in Photoshop I had to put them in seven groups! I can remember back when I made the original QFA cover. That only took me two days. One thing for certain, I am really looking forward to making this. It might end up being burdensome at some point, but like with the SOTM comic, I'm going to keep up the progress and write a decent story. I just wish the original came out this good, but it still makes good practice. Also, the pages themselves won't be this huge. Just 768x1024. Anyway, hope you all enjoy the cover!


EDIT: As you can see, I have replaced two characters: the dog and the purple snake with the bladed arms. I didn't want to say this until the whole comic was done, but I seems I have no choice. The replaced characters belong to . At first, I was okay with putting them in here, but then something came up and now I wish I never did that. I hate his guts and I hate it even more that something of his is in my creation. I do not regret making this change at all, but if you guys feel you might not like the comic any more because of it, that's fine. I also changed the dialogue in some of the pages (not just the names) to fit with the characters.

Okay, I have a good reason for this. If you look in the comments section of some of my pages, you will notice a person named making some rather good points about certain things like why most of the anthro characters are nude and what not. At first I tried defending myself with that, but then I really thought about it and it occurred to me he was right. If I want to turn this into some form of animated or printed media, then I would have to take as much advice from you guys as possible (not to mention a certain someone who I wish I never met talked me into keeping them nude, but it won't be that way anymore. Besides, I like them a lot with clothes. They look amazing). Another thing you will notice are some of the character designs and names will be different. With Gerald, whose name from now on will be Gesmar (pronounced with a hard G like in "gum"), I gave him horns because I think he looks more dragon-like. Kane will be using what looks like the earth element as opposed to random green flames and his father Jonathan will be using the water element instead of random blue flames. Of course, Bazil's comments and my sudden decision to change my characters around a bit aren't the only things making me go over the beginning again. It's been bugging me how much the first chapter could be made better, you know? It didn't quite focus on the main characters so much. The prologue will be redone as well, but not for the same reason. It's fine the way it is, but I can make it better both art wise and story wise.
If you guys think you won't like this, that's fine. The current pages will still be up for your viewing pleasure, just bare in mind that they won't be part of the official story anymore (think of them as "deleted pages"). This will take me a while, so don't expect any updates soon.
